PKMJ is an organization of experienced personnel dedicated to supporting the Nuclear Power Industry. Using a variety of platforms and technical knowledge, our team works with our clients throughout the project. We take the time to understand the problem and use our expertise and internal resources to provide cost-effective engineering and software solutions.
PKMJ was incorporated in 1982 and has approximately 175 full-time employees. Located in Moon Township, PA in the Airport Office Park, we are a nuclear consulting organization providing software and engineering solutions. Our engineers, who on average have over 25 years experience, support both fixed price project engineering and short-term staff augmentation.
The Proactive Obsolescence Management System is a tool designed specifically to centralize the Nuclear Power Industry's obsolescence issues into one easy to use application. Industry data can be leveraged to provide valuable information on current obsolescence issues as well as solutions for those issues. A crucial aspect of being able to identify obsolescence issues is having an accurate Bill of Materials. POMS proactively reconstitutes a Fleet's Bill of Materials which further provides utilities with the capabilities to determine obsolescence impact.

The Plant Health Monitor is the Industry's first tool which integrates Plant & System Health Reporting, Plant & System Health Monitoring, the Plant Health Committee, Obsolescence Issues, and Maintenance Rule Issues in one simple to use package. Plant Health Monitor acts as the "Center of Equipment Reliability" and has tentacles that reach into all aspects of Equipment Reliability. System Health related issues can easily be created and submitted to the Plant Health Committee which allows for easy tracking of an issue from inception to approved project in an effort to improve Plant & System Health. Plant Health Monitor closes the communication gap with System Engineering and the rest of the Plant.
Configuration Management Interface System is an industry first in creating a web environment to manage document control on the creation of the paperless Engineering Change Packages. CMIS assists engineers with the process of creating Equivalency Evaluations, Engineering Change Packages (ECPs), Calculations, and Temporary Modifications (TMs) and is set up to maximize automation of data sharing, data fidelity, and time savings. In addition, CMIS also supports interfaces with other site organizations to perform interface evaluations as well as supporting the creation of Affected Document Lists and Design Update Notices (DUNs).
